Tim Fish of Wine Spectator featured our 2005 Wild Oak Merlot in his listing of California Merlots that "...show the elegance and supple texture the Merlot grape can attain in the Golden State," describing the wine as showing "good structure and focus, with plum and pencil lead aromas and sleek black currant, cedar and spicy dill flavors."
Wild Oak, the site of our Winery in Sonoma Valley, was named to honor Sonoma's Heritage Oak trees. These wines are made from grapes that have been hand-picked from small lots of elite terroir in Sonoma County's most outstanding AVA's. Wild Oak Merlot is a lush, rich, full-bodied wine characterizing classic Bordeaux structure.
Drink now through 2014.
